FREE Community Event – Shellharbour
Join Elossa Fitness, a specialised gym for ages 60+ focusing on functional fitness, for a 1-hour information session. This event is open to members and non-members.
Exercise Physiologist Dean Towers will take you through:
- Bone density and the effects of ageing
- What is osteopenia and osteoporosis
- Evidence based recommendations for the best type of exercise for bone health
- How to safely get started with exercise to look after your bones
- Considerations for exercise for people with osteoporosis
